Bite-sized blog posts about:
• creating art, favorite music
• nature, daylilies, hiking
• culture, current events
• family life, sometimes drama
• Oliver, our chocolate lab
All with an open-minded perspective. If you’re into creative ideas and endless curiosity, you will feel at home here.
As kids, my brother and I rode through the mountains in a unicorn-decorated van during summer-long roadcations. We tagged along while our parents visited artists from their gallery and practiced mindfulness at Unitarian retreats. I didn’t know it then, but those adventures were quietly shaping how I see the world.
I’m Stacy Jo. Mom, artist, and the Chick behind the words. I share bite-sized posts about art in many forms, nature, mindfulness, and the realities of family life—the beauty that hides in the ordinary. I’m so happy you’re here; feel free to leave a comment.
